The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) is the principal stock exchange of Ghana, headquartered in Accra. It was established in 1989 and currently lists over 30 companies spanning sectors like banking, insurance, manufacturing, telecoms, and agriculture.

The GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) tracks the overall performance of all listed stocks, while the GSE Financial Stocks Index (GSE-FSI) focuses specifically on financial sector companies. Wallflake gives you real-time access to all GSE prices, indices, and market data.

No. Wallflake is an independent, private platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) or any listed company.

You can track any GSE-listed stock in two ways:

Watchlists — Tap the bookmark icon on any stock's detail page to add it to your watchlist. You can create multiple watchlists to organise stocks by theme (e.g. "Banking", "Dividends", "High Growth").

Portfolio — If you own shares, add the stock as a holding under the Portfolio tab. Enter the number of shares, purchase price, and date to track your cost basis, gains, and returns.

Open the Portfolio tab at the bottom of the app, then tap the + button or select an existing portfolio. Choose the stock ticker, enter the transaction type (BUY, SELL, or DIVIDEND), the number of shares, price per share, and the date.

Wallflake will automatically compute your average cost basis, unrealised gains, and portfolio return over time. You can also import a transaction history from a CSV file or an IC Wealth statement.

Navigate to any stock's detail page and tap the bell icon or the "Add Alert" button. You can set three types of alerts:

Price Above — Notifies you when the stock price rises above a target you specify.
Price Below — Notifies you when the stock price falls below a target.
% Move — Notifies you when the stock moves by a set percentage in a single day.

You can manage all your active alerts from the Notifications tab in the app. Price alerts require push notifications to be enabled.

The Snowflake Score is Wallflake's proprietary 5-axis scoring system that evaluates every GSE-listed stock across five dimensions:

Value — How cheaply the stock is priced relative to its earnings and book value.
Growth — Revenue and earnings growth trends.
Dividend — Dividend yield and consistency.
Momentum — Recent price performance relative to the market.
Financial Health — Balance sheet strength, debt levels, and liquidity.

Each axis is scored out of 2, giving a maximum total of 10. The scores are visualised as a radar (snowflake) chart on every stock detail page. A higher overall score generally indicates a stronger investment case, but should not be used in isolation — always do your own research.

Wallflake offers three tiers:

Basic (Free) — Live GSE prices, Snowflake scores, up to 1 portfolio, price alerts, market news, and the MoneyTalk community. Limited to 3 financial goals.

Pro — Everything in Basic, plus unlimited portfolios, advanced stock screener filters, AI portfolio health score, AI financial goal plans, deep-dive company analysis, and PDF tax reports.

Premium — Everything in Pro, plus priority support, PDF goal exports, and early access to new features.
