This page explains where our market data comes from, how our articles are written, where automation and AI are involved, and how to reach us if something is wrong. We publish it because readers deserve to know how what they are reading was made.
Wallflake's market coverage is built on data we collect and maintain ourselves: prices, corporate actions, dividends and company fundamentals for the Ghana Stock Exchange, together with a universe of US-listed stocks and ETFs.
Ghana Stock Exchange prices and end-of-day figures are collected from official exchange publications and market feeds. US market data is sourced from third-party market-data providers. Figures are shown as reported by the source; where a company reports in its own currency, we present the figure in that currency rather than converting it.
Where a summary originates with another publisher, we say so on the article, link to the original, and set the canonical URL to the publisher's page so their version — not ours — is the one search engines credit. We do not present another newsroom's reporting as our own.
Articles written by a named member of our team carry that person's byline, linking to their profile. Everything else — market summaries, data-driven briefings and routine coverage produced by the newsroom as a whole — is published under the Wallflake Newsroom byline.
We do not invent author personas, and we do not put a human name on something a person did not write.
Some Wallflake articles are generated with AI assistance from our own market data. Where that is the case, the article says so at the foot of the page.
We use large language models to turn structured market data we already hold — prices, movers, fundamentals, index levels — into readable summaries. Typical examples are daily and weekly market briefings, sector reviews and single-stock spotlights.
We correct errors of fact promptly. If a figure, name, date or characterisation on Wallflake is wrong, tell us and we will check it against our source.
When we correct something material after publication, we update the article and its modification date so the change is visible rather than silent. Market data that is superseded by a later official figure is updated as a matter of course.
