Four CIIG Awards Strengthen Enterprise Insurance’s Leadership Position
Enterprise Insurance emerged as the most successful company at the sixth Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG) Awards, securing four major honours at the ceremony held in Accra on 29 August 2026.
The company received the Hall of Fame recognition for General Insurance Company of the Year and was also named Employee Development Company of the Year.
Two Enterprise Insurance professionals earned individual honours. Paa Kwesi Koranteng was named Young Insurance Professional of the Year, while Ernest Oteng received the Insurance Agent of the Year award.
Presented by the professional body representing insurance practitioners in Ghana, the awards recognise the company’s performance, investment in employees and contribution to the country’s non-life insurance industry.
Improving insurance through technology
Enterprise Insurance has continued to invest in solutions designed to make insurance services easier, faster and more responsive to customers.
One of its key innovations is ClaimXpress, a digital platform that allows customers to submit and monitor claims online. The platform supports faster claims processing and payment, while the company’s same-day claims initiative helps eligible customers avoid the lengthy procedures often associated with making a claim.
ClaimXpress was also recognised as the Claims Initiative of the Year in 2025.
The company’s commitment to customer assurance is further reflected in its “Eto Wo A, Da” campaign. Built around the promise, “If it happens, relax. Enterprise Insurance has got you covered,” the campaign reminds customers that support will be available when they need it most.
Investing in employees
Winning Employee Development Company of the Year highlights Enterprise Insurance’s continued investment in professional training, workplace learning and career growth.
The individual awards received by Paa Kwesi Koranteng and Ernest Oteng also demonstrate the value of that investment. Their achievements recognise their professionalism, dedication and contributions to the company and Ghana’s broader insurance industry.
Commenting on the recognition, Head of Business Development Mark Danso Addison said the awards came with a responsibility to maintain high standards.
“These awards are a reflection of our people, their dedication, innovation and commitment to excellence. More importantly, they remind us that every recognition comes with a responsibility to keep raising the bar. Our customers place their trust in us to be there when it matters, and that is the standard we must continue to deliver on.”
He said the company would remain focused on creating meaningful benefits for customers through innovation, improved service and a better insurance experience.
The four awards reflect Enterprise Insurance’s progress in developing its employees, embracing technology and improving its claims services. They also strengthen the company’s position as one of Ghana’s leading non-life insurance providers.
