MTN Declares Dividends of GH¢0.40 per share
MTN Ghana's Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of GH¢0.40 per share, up from GH¢0.24 the previous year. MTN Ghana, operating as Scancom PLC, has announced impressive full-year results for 2025, with profit after tax (PAT) surging by nearly 56 % to GH¢7.8 billion compared with the previous year.
This strong performance was supported by solid growth across its key business units, particularly in data, financial technology and digital services, amid a more favourable economic climate.
MTN Ghana also reported growth in key operational indicators: total mobile subscribers increased by 9.2 % to reach 31.2 million; active data users grew by 13.7 % to 19.9 million; and active MoMo users increased by 12.3 % to 19.3 million.
These gains were supported by GH¢6.4 billion in capital expenditure, much of which was allocated to network infrastructure upgrades and expanded 4G coverage.
